I am thinking of painting my entire dash, but I know it will take several days. My question is, is the car drivable without the dash? All I would have is my shifter, seats, wheel and pedals.

Do you have your windows tinted? I think you should be ok to drive without a dash. [ 04-01-2003, 10:12 PM: Message edited by: Karrion28 ]

When I painted my center console & the thing behind the steering wheel, I had to drive to the hardware store without those pieces because I forgot to get clearcoat. People sure were giving me strange looks. LOL. But no problems.
You can drive the car just fine without the pieces. Just twist the shift knob back on and you're good to go.
Somebody said something about cops. Is it like, illegal to drive without dash pieces? Or do they just think you stole the car or somethin?
Absolutely Red awesome canyon road hugger with impressive straight-line acceleration.

YES, you can drive without any interior if you'd like to. All you really need is the pedals, shifter, and maybe the gauges pluged in. Besides that you could drive without seats if you wanted to. I would just be careful around the police because who knows if they are going to give you a hassle.
