As you can see I painted the number inlay on my stock shifter silver to match my exterior/dash. The pic doesnt do justice though, but trust me its the same silver as rest(not white)

yeah but whos really paying attention

I used a model paint pen and a real fine paint brush. I sharpened the paint pens fat tip down to a thread size.

Also if someone trys it, if you get out of the lines, wipe off the paint real quick several times and it wont affect the letter because of the inlay

Hey wow, i think it's really cool. It's a nice accent to the interior. I really think that some shifters out there are way overdone.

I've been working on some shift knob mods...I painted the letter silver with the touch up paint from the car, looks cool. I also redid the stitching on one of the knobs with red thread and a flat stitch, and one with silver and offset stich. I'll post some pics tonight, they look cool.
