anyway, as i've said 'so long ago rofl' that the m3 rules a supra.

the supra is a very nice car, don't get me wrong...but it's no bmw. the supra also has a much larger aftermarket. but dollar to dollar--the m3 is the better option, imo thumbsup

and reason #2 (yes i know its a 760li..geez)

...lets see ANY asian import top this interior. european cars are synonymous with luxury, asian cars are synonymous with getting good fuel mileage.

...gimme luxury, thank you grin

It's all opinions.

Matter of fact, that interior is ugly as hell.

I agree with Donegan, if you are buying an M3/Supra it needs to be a cockpit, not luxury.

Last time I checked, a supra was a sports car spineyes

last time I checked, $110,000 put into a supra gets you running into the 9's in the 1/4 mile at 170MPH, I doubt the 760li could touch anything close to that tongue

lacking what?

Nothing, it's a sports car. It doesn't weigh 2.5 tons b/c it's not full of crap. If it doesn't make it go faster, or stop faster, don't stick it on. grin

the m3 is faster than a supra Turbo..hmm..

more luxury + faster = better.

well, i was just making a point about bmw interiors using the 760li as an example, NOT the m3.

although as i said..the m3 has a sportier interior and is still faster. in my opinion..that makes for a better car (it also costs less now that you have to pay out the ass for a supra)

the m3 is much lighter and is a 'sports car'.

and i'll use your own argument against you:

curb weight of a bmw m3: 3050lbs
curb weight of a supra Turbo: 3500lbs.

(450 lb difference in favor of m3)

stock vs stock, sure.

Some mods into the supra, and you've got 600+HP

We were talking about the Supra vs/ the 760 spineyes

It's mostly a matter of opinion, as was previously states, still I'd like to see an M3 crack 9 seconds in the 1/4 mile spineyes

yeah, but i never intended to bring the 760 into a direct debate with the supra (was just comparing european luxury to asian functionalism).

and i'm sure it's very possible for an m3 to crack the 9 sec barrier given $$ (as with all things).

i won't argue with the aftermarket the supra has--one of the best available for rare sportscars. it's probably very likely you can make a 9 second supra for far less than you can make a 9 second m3...even though neither would be even relatively cheap.

I don't think the M3 can handle that kind of HP, I was looking around on some sites at google, looks like the most anyone has gotten is like 5-600

M3 of course

Next car will be back an European car. I think an European is still the best (BMW, Renault, Opel,...).

so you can see its a lot diffrence between the pick you posted and this one so then you must compare price and real pick of both cars not just of the supra and you must consider taht the supra are 6-7 years older than this bmw m3 so teh intrior my be out of date.
(how old it is has no effeckt if you going to buy one but if you are comparing how nice the intrior is so take a 6-7 year old m3 with real pick and compare, but if you going to buy on of cures that the supra is older its reallity wink

well lets get back to the original question..94 supra or 94 M3 (not the bad ass 2000+ m3 models)...think a supra wins hands down BETWEEN THOSE TWO EXAMPLES

1995 m3 for example

um, actually you can buy a present day m3 for less the price of a supra--so why don't we compare it this way

present day m3 + mods

95 supra, stock.

anyway..i'm done arguing this topic. if you want to compare prices, then the above way is the way you should go.

like i keep saying--its opinion. but the supra is not a supercar..don't confuse that. many people overhype it because some people have spent a ridiculous amount of money making it fast (which it CAN go extremely fast--don't get me wrong.) but its still a front-engine car that handles pretty badly.

Yeah I don't think you should be allowed to post a pic of a widebody supra unless you are going to do the ssame with the M3.

Wait your comparing the price of a 2000+ M3 vs. a Used Supra TT or the price it had at the dealership in 94?
