Actually there is a rumor that the celica could be discontinued, however there will be a new sportscar to take its place. Remember this is just one of many rumors around toyota.

yeah a new supra, a 90k supercar to match the nsx, and the discontinuation of the celica. we've heard it all, i wish toyota would just give answers to all. oh well. that wont happen till they come out. new cars should reach show rooms around the end of the year. normally

spoke to an engineer from toyota today and there is no plans for a new redesigned celica.
