I did this between classes today. From the looks of these products in stores, you'd think they'd be very tacky. In my opinion, if done right, a cool blue light can be tasteful. These are 9" cold cathodes on each side held up with adhesive and hardwired in to the back of the cigarette lighter and hooked up to a stock-looking switch.
I also added a DRL/auto on disable switch while I was at it to the same switch panel.

i love em...i tried wiring mine and burned em out. frown and my switch wouldnt fit in the stock holes either frown frown

alright question. how did you put the switches into those holders? i put mine in by heating up an exacto blade and cutting a hole, but it took lots of time and wasted a blade. just wondering if theres and easier way.

Cut the slots out with a dremel, then paint them. I did mine gloss black with red rocker switches for my neons, it turned out sweet!
