Probably... I did not know when they were judging... The show was from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Not like I'm gonna stand there waiting for 13 hours to see when the judge comes by.

Where did you here that from?

They announced at 11:30 that Judging will began at Noon, or they were supposed to. We started judging about 10 till 12 and finished up around 3. I got to your car around 1:45 or so. And yes you did loose points due to the fact that the car was looked up tighter then fort Nox!!! laughsilly We can only judge what we can see. I am not allowed to open your doors, or your trunk. But from the outside you car is nice!!!! thumbsup

here are some tips for next show:

1. Try not to leave your car until it has been judged.
2. If you don't know what time judging starts, find a NCCA judge (we are all wearing a shirt that says NCCA on the back) and are walking around all day.
3. If you do have to leave your car before it has been judged, then leave it open (Hood, Trunk, doors, etc.)

Hope this helps you for the next show!!!!! thumbsup

Its going to be painted around the bottom like his, not the entire dash, if i painted the top part white, then ya glare like a biotch...but around the bottom edges ill be fine...whats the best paint to use????

Thanks for the advice. That was the first car show I ever put my car in so, I guess that's how it goes. I should be at the next event in Hershey. Hope to talk to you there!

Go to a auto paint shop and have them put your exact color code into a spray can, jap8746 told me that around here you can get it at a place called BAPS for like $14. Also you can go to pep boys or like advanced auto parts or something. By the way I think his interior is really nice.

Yeah I used this custom paint for things like my headlights taillights, etc... But for the dash I used the Krylon Fusion which I purchased at Wal-Mart for about $3-4 per can. I'd say start with about 4 cans of each color... Lots of tape and newspaper. I took the seats out (front and back) to get everything painted... Have fun, it takes a lot of time.

Yeah if I was doing a big job like painting my dash and stuff I would use the stuff from walmart to. I used paint from advanced auto parts that was like $3 to do my center console and stuff. Good luck!
