if your engine is cold and you start it up theres moisture inside the piping, thats what that liquid is...

my setup was having a straight pipe all the way to the cat converter but i took the cat out of there and replaced it with high flow resonator... thumbsup

i have no idea on the HP gain, but when you step on the gas and go, you can feel the rush grin spineyes , my whole setup is very illegal grin since this one is not CARB approved compliant goodjob
most guys here take their cat converter out so they can spit spire out of the exhaust, just a very tiny flame thumbsup

no but mine only does it while im moving ... say for instance at 4000 rpm

i let my foot off the gas and let the engine slow itself ...

as the rpm's drop ... *pop*

thumbsdown

does yours do that?

i replaced my whole piping with 2.5" chrome piping ... im wondering whether thats what caused it
cheers

all cars do that... like when the rpms drop from high rpms... you'll hear a sporatic "pop." I guess it is from the leftover unburnt gas fromt the combustion cylinders...

would buying and installing like an MSD ignition blaster pack ... or some other product that increases your spark power ... help to eliminate that noise? confused

i dont think MSD ignition blaster pack would help, its all about the unburnt gas thats doin the pop sound like Steven said, with my setup i dont hear a pop sound cheers but when i use to have my cat converter out just straight pipe all the way thats the time i hear the gay pop sound and i hate it cheers

i just mean that if you can get something to make the spark better from your plugs ... you can perhaps try to force you car to run just a smidge leaner...

like burn all the gas in the combustion chamber with a more powerful spark?? confused

i dunno maybe im just talking out of my assrolleyes

JD! Man, you need to get a video clip of it in motion man. Sounds good just sitting there, but put that exhaust to use. Lets hear what it sounds like when you get on it.

Sweet man, I can't wait. If I knew how to upload videos, me and my roommate would make some, but I don't know how to get them on my computer.

i just bought a camcorder last weekend, its a Sony, its capable of storing mpeg videos in a memory stick, it only came with 8 MB so the length is just 1 min. 128 MB is 30 mins of video recording time, it comes with USB cable and a driver so you can upload it to your PC, i cant wait to do it its hard to find memory sticks here... grin

So you're saying that if you replace the catalytic convertor with 2.5 inch custom straight pipe, there will be a pop noise when the rpms decrease? I've never heard ths pop noise before. If there's gonna be a pop noise then I'm not gonna get the straight pipe for my car.
