How do I take off the two screws on the "top" of the valve cover.. the plastic ones. confused

they just unscrew if i remember correctly. mine broke off last summer so im not sure


a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed

when you twist them two little nubs break off... but they go back in fine. I dont know why they're designed like that.

my nubs broke off when i painted the engine plastics. The screws still work.

its fine.

They Snap off.

Don't worry about them much, you got two other Metal screws keeping the plastic down.

I had to snap them when I cleaned the top end out. Threw them away.

i broke one spine of a fork to take mine off, but if yours break just buy a pack of them push tabs for $2.25. thats what i ended up doing anyway. grin

Yeah, they just twist off, but they break pretty easily. I broke one when I was installing my grounding kit, so I broke the other one to make it even grin

I'm late but, I use needle nose pliers. Grab the inner tab and unscrew them. I've taken mine off at least 6 times and have never broke them.
