I heard a Pioneer 32inch sub at a show last year. Funny thing is it didn't sound any deeper than a 15inch, or a decent 12inch that will drop to 20hz. Very powerful and probably dropped way below 20hz, but whats the point when we humans can't hear it?

way back in the day i saw a feature in a car audio magazine about them building a 48 inch sub it was in the back of a panel van took like 6 briged mono 1200 watt amps to drive it and the cone came out with 2 tons of pressure and extended 18 inches
