The correct RPM for lift would be Zero ...because that means your GT would be shut-off. At this point, remove the keys and walk to your nearest Toyota dealer where you need to test drive a GTS...

nicely put. a gt is good if you are not that much into speed. the only difference is the 40hp and the lift. the handling and all the fun driving it is the same. buy a gts only if you wanna enjoy the lift which will kick in after 6000rpm which a lot of ppl shift b4 that. gt is good for the fun to drive it, turboing, and swapping.
i did not think so it just seemed to me that when ever i get to about 4.5 rpm then i felt some boost but it could be just me
it's just the valve timing. the ECU determines how aggressive the intake valve timing should be depending on load, throttle position, grade, and your mood

...and go spend an extra $3,000-$5,000 when you don't need to. A GT is plenty quick w/o Lift.

Ohhhh, I enjoy my lift, it's worth the difference in price
I have a GTS, but now I'm thinking the GT is better. One can get a TRD super charger for the GT and make it faster than the GTS. As the GTS is so efficient as it is and has such a high compression, it is really hard and expensive to get more out of the engine.

...and your wallet a little lighter so you can go even faster since you have less weight.
haha...cough cough, I love my Gt but I wish it had lift...
