i want to get an intake but i don't really care about gains as much as i care about a good sounding intake which one do you guys recommend... AEM cold air or INJEn
people with injen will say injen better, and people with AEM will say AEM better... so this will lead you no where...AT ALL!
i say go with turbo or supercharge~ they sound the best~ or get a V6 or V8 sounds even better~ V12 or V10 would be nice~ some BMW I6 are nice like the M3~
I may be in the dark here, but what is your car? GTS or GT and also manual or automatic. Just get an Injen either way. I always thought AEM=Honda. That had nothing to do with MY choice, by the way. They both sound great. Just get whatever you want...Injen...or a short ram...Injen...spend some more money and get a new filter and hook it up...Injen.
id be weary about Injen, some people have had issues with the intake breaking. You might wanna take that in considiration
S**T, if my intake never broke then there's nothing to worry about. I probably had my intake as long as this site if not longer. I just cleaned it too. No real scratches, dents, or holes. I've driven in inches of snow, almost flooded roads, and gravel covered streets. The finish is just a little dull around the filter area. That's a bad install or a defect.

i doubt that nate installed it wrong or that other guy with the sr. maybe you're just lucky
"If it wasn't for bad luck i'd have no luck at all" I've had all the bad luck you could think of with the Celica. For the intake I haven't any, but didn't install, it's the best mod I had made so far. Including Pirelli Assimetrico tires (done last year or so), winter tires(that's a close second) Volk wheels (who wants them), Hotchkis strut bar w/camber plates (done for - who wants it), camber links, Tanabe strut tower bar, Tein Ha coilovers (a lot of trial and error) (I hope my soon future mods will go smoothly). I've had trouble like squecky clutch, mis-shifting on the 2000 GTS, water in headlights, belt noise, grinding gears, break noise, CEL and MAFS, and rattles (all pretty much fixed). I saw the post about that intake, and wondering how the hell that could have happened? It makes no sense.
