alright guys i was charged 111 bucks for no front license plate and another 48 bucks for street cleaning. I got the ticket signed off by the police officer the day before the deadline and sent it in time. Therefore, I only up ended paying only 10 bucks + the 48 bucks i owe. A week ago, i received a warning letter with a 40 bucks fee that i owe the rest of the amount.
I figured that they made a mistake and lost the ticket signed by the police officer. The problem is, my gf mailed it for me and forgot to make a duplicate copy of the ticket. Many of you probably have a lot of experience than me in getting out tickets so im asking for help. What should i write in appealing the ticket.
Thanks guys.

Around here no front license plate is $25. I just pay them. Tell them you just got the bumper & it doesn't have the holes drilled yet(like mine). Might be pretty hard to talk your way out of this one. Good luck.

i don't think they're going to fall for it since i got the celica in 02.
Also, this is really not as bad as you guys think. I paid 10 bucks for the correction already. It's just that they made a mistake and charged me the total fee if i were not to get it signed off by a p.o. BUT i did. I need helping in what to say.

^^
I would but the officer that I took it to did a 5 sec transaction in correcting my ticket. That's not enough time to remember his face. Maybe I would if i see him. Why would I have to go all the trouble over again when it's not my fault. I had it signed and sent.
