Hi all, I am a new comer. I have a Year 2000 Celica and now I am considering changing the Rim. I plan to buy a 17" Titan from OZ

I would like to know what is the optimal wheel width (7.5 inches or 8 inches?) for my car? I was told that the wheel offset is 35mm and I use a 225/45 tire? I have no idea on the effect of these on the performance of my car and will appreciate if anyone can give me some advices.

I am sorry, the width of this rim should be either 7" or 8". BTW, what are the pro and cons of having a Rim (and hence a wheel) that is wider?

i'm not a big oz fan i like racing hart or 5zigen those two companys are great and i wouldn't go 8" wide rims because you can have rumbing probs and 17"s won't hurt ur perf to bad

not digging the wheel, but go with 8" wide if plan on dropping it an 1", go with 7.5" if you plan on dropping it a lot. this way you wont have to worry about your wheels rubbing with you fenders
