aight this is my issue. i got 600 dollars from work (low pay since i just started bc of the car) i get 332 a month and i gotta pay 150 for the car. So if i have 660 now and will have around 182(with the car payment deducted) at the end + the current amount, i will have $842. Now the important part, what should i buy, i wanna get something that will make a nice noise (exhausts, CAIs, Short rams), bodykits, or what? please tell me what i should get, how much it is and maybe some pics or sounds.

Thanks a bunch (my car is stock performance, i painted console, calipers, engine plastics)

For affordable, beefier performance:
AEM CAI
TRD Exhaust
Headers

This is what I will be installing soon, considering I just got paid. IMO, just from what I've read, this is the best combo of items when starting to upgrade a stock engine. After these things, you should probably work on some other aspects of your vehicular object, but pulleys, sprockets, and cams would be next. After those, engine internals(i like those words for some reason). After that, supercharger or turbocharger. Of course, there's always the new engine, but personally, I would just trade in for a new car, parting with my celica's fine looks.

For show and blingage:
(omg i cant believe i typed that)

Window Tint
Rims
Lowering Springs
New suspension (can wait after springs but is a must afterwards)
body kit

Audio:
A couple of W7's and a couple of 1000 watt amps
Multidisc changer (a must if you have a manual grin)

There are a bunch of things you could choose from really. For me, performance first, audio second, showiness third thumbsup It's all about what's most important to you(as someone once said).

Edit:
TSRM makes a buncha noise from what I read. If you want insane noise and twice the hp gain of what a the other TRD exhaust offers, go with kazuma, but it's not legal because it IS so loud.

in the for sale forum groupbuycelica is doing a gb on trd exhaust, i think. but yeah, extended is intended if you're gonna get a bodykit, so it'll stick out if you have a stock bumper

my bad, you can't get the trd for $500 shipped in the gb. but you can get Greddy or Apex at www.suprastore.com [suprastore.com] for $500 or less w/shipping.

i think injen gives you more hp in higher rpms & aem gives you more hp in the lower rpms. Some people have been running into problems with their injen cai & sr. they're cracking & no one knows why, so far

It all depends on your personal prefence on what you want to mod. Whatever is most important to you, im going audio, show, preformance. It all about the individual person and they want done 1st. If your going preformance go with intake and exhaust.

trd makes an exhaust for both gt & gts, just make sure its a gts exhaust. go with extended length if you have the trd body kit or plan to get a body kit down the road. the standard exhaust fits flush with the stock non-trd rear bumper

i believe that's your muffler, but the stock exhaust is one piece in the rear, so youd have to get it cut off and then get another piece of tubing welded on.

honestly if your not going for HP and your going for sound just get a muffler tip and take off your stock muffler and weld on a aftermarket tip.. cheaper then buying a full cat-back.. you can even get custom piping for like $100 bucks or so.. so all in all you would save probably $300.00 vs. a full cat-back from a company like Tanabe or Greddy.. for an intake stick with AEM Cold air and get the By Pass Valve if you live near a bunch of potholes, its a good idea to get one period! and then you should have plenty of money left for the DC headers as soon as they come out.. hope that helped

oh by the way if you end up getting a full catback let me knwo im sure I can try to beat the best price you've gotten!
