So after backing into a Ford Explorer, here's what my tail light situation looks like. Does this look structural or just the light is damaged? The top part is my left side, which is fine... the bottom is the damaged side. You can see that the bumper seperation is alittle more and the light is actually tilted downwards somewhat. I'll post another picture in a sec that better shows the light. I'm getting new tail lights, but if someone thinks this is structual I might take it to the shop or something Hopefully just the light is damaged.

Another... you can see the top of the light has a nice gap and the bottom of the light is pushed inwards.

did you try to tighten the top bolt & see if that pulls the tailight in? if not, then it might be a structural problem which will suck

Drive saftely. I can't really see any difference, if you hadn't said you were in an accident, i would have never known.
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

I would dismiss it...only after I remove the taillight & make sure everything is alright. Don't spend money if you really don't have to. X

It really isn't too bad. In fact, the accident was a week ago, and I just now noticed the light. Hopefully installing a new tail light will get it straightened out.
