depends on your driving habits. As long as you don't burn it constantly, and ride on it you should be ok. Just pop it in, do your business and pop it out...just like sex. The clutch on my old car lasted 30K+ miles and prolly could have gone more had I not given it away. So if you know how to drive a stick well, you could make it last.

huh? guys. as long as you don't beat on your car a clutch should last you 150 thousand. Since we all drive a little more agressive than our dads, expect a 90-110 or so lifespan. However, if you autocross, race your car, ride the clutch, pop it at starts etc, yeah it'll go really fast depending. expect your average teens sportscar (lots burning out, reving engins at starts etc) to last about 50k. However, it's very common for autox car's clutches to burn in 7k. 10-15k if it's an upgrade.
My everyday driver's clutch is still running on 160k, no slipage. My last one lasted 178k before even the slightest slip when I dropped it one day to test it. A clutch that is just starting to go when you drop it, under normal driving can last 4-5k or more no problem.

Sometimes I just sit in the garage staring at this beautiful wolf, doing nothing, just admiring it. Life feels gooood when you have a Celica in your garage.

most clutches last an average of 5-6 years. sports cars are a little less but that also takes into consideration that you drive it like a sportscar (high rpm starts). however, if you drive it like you would drive, say, a truck--then your clutch an actdually last longer because most sportscars (including the celica) are geared towards weight savings so your clutch will wear less with lower rpm starts. (most wear on a clutch occurs when coming from a complete stop--that assumes you don't ride the clutch)

Plain and simple, you drive your car hard and your stuff will go faster. It's a trade off.

mine went out on me at 8000 miles stock clutches suck and burn easy... might i add that toyota fuckd me over 1200 bucks and wouldn't even get me a trd clutch.. it was on an 03 gts, i drove it back and forth from ohio to michigan on some weekends, and the occasional drag-race track, maybe that's why.
