For the ingnition button, all you do is wire one to a constant 12 volt, wire another to the ignition wire, and wire the last to the ground. Then depending on if you have one that lights up there will be one to connect to an accessory wire. Thats pretty much it.

If you want i can look under there and give you the exact colors of the wires you have to hook them up to, just pm me and i'll let you know.

here's the diagram, hooking it up to the e-brake is for protecting the starter(manual or Auto). in case someone pushes it while the car is running and GRINDS the starter, you don't what that.

hey man if you wire it up like that it won't work, you forgot to include the starter wire. all the button does is turn over the starter, you still need to have the key in and at the "on" postion.

ratfink's response pretty much answers your question as well... your key must be in the ignition and at the "on" position, then you press the start button or it won't work
