Here in belgium the diameter of the wheel must be within 1,5% of the original diameter of the stock wheel, so that the speed meter (sorry for my english grin) stays correct (within a few %).

So Toyota Team Europe recommends using:

215/40/17 on a 7,5*17 ET 39

or

225/35/18 on a 7,5*18 ET 39
