as some of you may know, I got some springs that are not installed yet. I am waiting til I have some shocks. The springs I got are skunk2..which lowers 2.25 front and 2.5 rear. Anyone have any ideas what shocks to get that will support the drop?? KYB shocks? tokico shocks? what are the bbest shocks to buy?

the best shocks in my opinion are koni sports(yellow) and cost about $600 or less for a set. the tokico are non adjustable and cost about 325-350 a set...kyb suck...

they will all work with any types of springs.

Probably the best place to get Koni shock is tirerack.com
But you have a big drop at 2.25 inches those Koni's will never last. I had some with Progress springs witch are a 2.0 inch drop and they got worn out. they would not rebound after about 8 months, and I don't do any auto-cross or anything. The salesman at tire rack told me they are not a lowered shock, and if you put a lower spring on it you loose shock travel. You need a shock that is made for a lower spring. None of the ones mentioned, Koni, KYB, Tokico are a lowered shock.
