Ok i got the "kazuma exhuast" which is already hella loud and i want to get Dc headers but i dont want to increase the sound of exhaust.. here is the question will header make my exhuast sound louder or it will stay the same..

I'm not sure about the celica, but I put headers on my last car, and it didn't really make them tremendously louder like when you put a really open exhaust on your car, the headers just made the exhaust sound like it had more depth, and helped the exhaust note stay deep throughout the RPM range...

I'm not sure about the celica, but I put headers on my last car, and it didn't really make them tremendously louder like when you put a really open exhaust on your car, the headers just made the exhaust sound like it had more depth, and helped the exhaust note stay deep throughout the RPM range... dam i dont want the deep sound and i realy dont want it to stay at all the rpms i have enough trouble with the po - po does anyone one know about the celica headers and the sound.. better yet does anyone know if it gets louder on the exhuast i got the reason im specifing it , is because its straight pipe , no cat all . ect..

First off... why'd you remove ur catalytic convertor? The Kazuma bolts straight up to it. Either way... the exhaust tone should be deeper (not higher) once you get headers put on. I'm going to get DC Headers as well. I'll let you know how it sounds soon as I get them on. If you dun like the sound/trouble wit police, then sell the Kazuma.
