I just installed an Injen Short Ram Intake on a 2003 Celica GTS and it sounds perfect while your driving. But it does not make that Pssssttt... sound when you turn the car off. I know it's supposed to from reading other forums. All of my friend's Short rams do. Why doesn't mine? Please help me with this, I'm going crazy trying to get it right. That is one of the main resons I bought the Injen Short Ram Intake.

Yes, It's connected properly... Would that make a difference though if one tube was in the wrong posistion? Like I said, everything is cool when driving. When you turn the car off, it just sounds like I have no Intake. It should make that PSSSTTT.. noise that I want that sounds so good. Any ideas why it's not exhaling when I turn the car off.

Nevermind, found problem. The 03 GTS has electronic throttle control. Every other freaking car except mine has a cable driven throttle. When you turn the car off on cable driven cars, AKA everyone but mine, the Intake valve/butterfly closes slowly given you that PSSSTTT sound letting the air out. Electronic Throttle contol just turns off instantly with no exhale. Damn it...
