So i went to start my car today and it was dead...had to have the battery replaced at NTB anyway...while i am waiting for them to put the battery in a guy comes over to me and says that they found my left side CV pipe is cracked...he gave me a written estimate of $350 and said it would take aprox 4 hours. I have a couple of questions... 1) What does this CV pipe do exactly? 2) Would it be covered under my warranty at the dealership?

go back and ask them what it does... and ask them to tell you where it is and show you where it is...
i may be wrong... but i am 99 percent sure there is no such thing as a CV pipe.

Does he mean CV shaft. Which would be located in the front end and is used to drive the car. Goes from tranny to the wheel. Which i know that they cost about that much money.
