Sportlines are 1.8 in front and 2.4 in back. I want some personal experience with people using the springs with stock shocks. How is the ride with these? Also, how long did it took for the shocks to wear off? thanks.

I have the Sportline and stock shock for two years now. The shocks definitely need to be changed. I am picking up tokico shocks today. But, you can ride with stock for a long time. The ride is a little rough.
Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.

thanks guys this really helped a lot. 'rough' is relative (your celica already rides more 'rough' than a cadillac does). basically 'rough' is a desription of how much your springs give. (more give = smooth. and less give = rough). the stiffer a spring is the rougher your ride will be. so saying, as a rule of thumb, shorter springs must be stiffer (so your car doesnt bounce on the ground among other obvious reason). therefore, since eibach springs are shorter (lower your car) they must be stiffer. this makes your ride more 'rough'

as a rule of thumb, many aftermarket springs can be riddeon on your stock shocks for about one year before normal replacement.
as tony mentioned earlier, he has gone 2 years (which is pretty good).
you don't have to get new shocks right away, but if you do put stiffer aftermarket springs on your car, you should start saving for new shocks right away. sooner or later it will be necessary.
