someone is selling a TRD header for like 450...just a few questions because i know so little about this product. 1)is it CARB? 2)how is the sound level with a trd exhaust 3)and any inforation you can give me would be nice!

no it is not card legal
don't know about the sound never heard it
normally i would say get teh trial because it has slightly better gains ata tthe same cost. but for 450 man if it is legit then go for it man
make sur eit is legit though

make sur eit is legit though i'm pretty sure ALL TRD parts are 50 state legal... it should be carb'd.

read a similar thread on the the other forum (where you found the header for sale). It is meant to be used with the TRD pistons that run 13:1, so for stock pistons, trial will be a better bet

i know who you want to buy it from ct. the price is really good especially since it's kinda rare.
well it's not really carb legal, but i'm pretty sure you can get away with it here.
the sound will def. be deeper with TRD exhaust. prob. a bit louder but not too much louder. and notice a big gain in the higher RPM's prolly from 4.5k -8.3k

hey ct i don't think it'll be too bad, i think it'll just make your exhaust just a few notes deeper, i'd do it for the gains. if your worried about passing smog you should go to some one who'll make you car pass smog.

according to the sales rep here, the header can be used with and with out the TRD 13:1 pistons, you get better gains out of the header with the pistons though. ordering a set after i get my taz check
