wasup ppl..last night my car started having some electrical problems. you think toyota dealer will fix it under warranty even though i have a system??im just hoping dat they will fix it.anybody familiar with electrical problemS?? someone plz help! thx

my dome light doesn turn on.i check da bulb n da fuse.they r perfectly fine.and also when i leave da button on,my clock turns off and da door sign comes on even though all da doors r shut.when i leave it off,my clock gets dimmed.u can barely c da time.do you guys think dealer will fix it even though i have a sound system?

depends on the dealer. many will blame the aftermarket job. if a shop installed your system they should be able to check of everything is wired properly. sounds like you have a short somewhere (wires pinching or bare wire contacting metal).

you could have a shorted wire somewhere... check the wires that you can and make sure that no wires are exposed and touching another wire or metal on the car.
from your other thread, i would replace the dome light bulb and see if it works.. if not , it's not expensive anyway.
i would check your audio wires agian too, and if you can't find the problem, take your audio system and wires out and then take it to toyota.

First English helps, hard to read your posts, like really hard. I would double check all my fuses and bulbs, as well as rest the car by disconnecting the negative battery cable. If your still having problems I doubt your "system" has anything to do with it, unless you cut into existing system you should have left the hell alone.

yea, check ALL fuses , from the inside fuse boxes to the engine compartment fuses.

no...my system was already in there for a while.dis happened after i tried to take off da plastic part of da dome light.i was trying to fix da rattling noise.fuk...i shouldve never touched it in da first place. check the wiring up there at the dome light... sounds like you did something to the wiring when trying to take the dome light cover off. also, check your battery terminals and make sure they're on tight and not corroded.

Check the wiring + switch at the dome light. I think you made a shortcut (clock goes on and of).
