How do you guys think a color changing midcoat would look on an 01 celica? The one i am looking at is primarily a dark blue (almost carbon blue) with crimson, dark purple and a little bronze when you look at it from a small angle. I cant remember the name of the paint but it is a higher quality paint. I dont really like the flip flop paint that is like teal, candy apple green, bright purple and whatever, but this is darker and i thought it looked pretty badass. What are you guys oppinions on color changing paint? thanks in advance thumbsup

chamelion...

i like it when the colors are cool... i dont like purple, but the blue, bronze thing sounds cool... maybe substitute purple for green or something.

go for it... its a really expensive paint job, if i remeber correctly the paint is somewhere around 300 bucks a quart.

The chamelion paint is origionally from the House of Color in Picayune, Ms. All others are imitation. They have about 8 shades of it. The sharpest paint I think they have is their Pearls, especially the black pearl with a color over it, fu8king awsome. I live down in this area and have gone by there. Email and get a color catalog or go by your favorite paint shop. I don't like the chamelion but it's your ride not anyone else's on this forum, do what you want screw the rest. My two cents. thumbsup

Pearl is the best way to go. Eventually I'm going to be getting orange with a white pearl, which is going to be crazy awesome. I vote for pearl.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.
