I have yet to install mine, but I will take it to my mechanic along with the header this Thursday... reason being that the belt tensioner takes a lot of force to relieve the belt from the alternator and also you may need an impact wrench to remove the stock pulley...

It's better to take it to a shop 'cuz they know what they're doing. This way you wont install it wrong & screw up your engine.

You definetely want to take it to a shop. You can do it yourself, but if you want things to be easier on yourself you may want to have them do it because they have an impact gun to pull the old pulley out. I just had it installed on my car and if I did it myself without an impact gun I'd be having a hard time doing it myself.

its easy... as long as you have an impact wrench...
all you have to do is take off the alternator, swap the pullies and swap the belt.
about an hour job the first time around.
