I was so close to ordering the full kaminari kit. Thought I'd play it safe with the choice of body kit for my celica. Make sure I don't ruin the car with a bad kit.
But then something happened. Insanity struck.
So now I've got the OCTANE front bumper, BUDDY CLUB side skirts, BOMEX rear bumper, and the APR GT-200 wing ordered and on it's way - with 8,5x19" rims already waiting at home.
Hoping to have it all sorted at the end of april. will post pictures when it's done.
i mixed and matched mine ill post pics when it done. I have evo front bumper with trd side skirts and i cant rember the rear bumper but i think its gonna look good.
yeah, should of gotten kaminari. octane front and bomex rear is ok, but i dont like buddy club sides. and the wheels that you are getting doesnt look to good.
All the parts should be here before easter (atleast, that's what i've been told).
as soon as it gets here, i'll start working on it. and I will post pictures as soon as i got something to show (the lowering springs are due next week, so I guess some shots of the car lowered with the rims on will come first ;-))
anyways - thanks for the encouragement! I *promise* pictures!
since the buddy club sits so low to the floor the side skirts arent going to line up with your front bumper or rear ... dont kno how itll look but props on the kit hopefully it looks sick

I started out ordering the bomex sides, but changed it to buddy club 'cause I think they fit more the look of the octane front with its sharp edges on the sides. the bomex sides look too "round". and, atleast in pictures, i think the bomex sides look deeper than the buddy club ones. Buddy club 2 looks deeper, but i've ordered buddy club 1 btw...
a friend of mine who've done some custom mods on glassfiber kits i've had on my old cars is going to help me with these bits aswell. so the plan is to make some small modifications to make the kit unique. so even if some one goes ahead and order the same pieces, he won't have exactly the same kit as me.
now all i need is to win the lottery so i can buy lambo doors and a VIS invader hood..
The wheels and lowering springs are going to be mounted this coming weekend. Will hopefully have pictures on sunday.
The GT200 wing has arrived at the store I ordered it from, so I will hopefully have time to pick that up on saturdy. They're also getting a shipment inn from the US that might contain the full body kit aswell.

Sounds good. I can't wait to see how this combo turns out. Its got potential to go either way but I think it will look good. Can't wait for the pics!
The wheels look awesome on the car. Tried them on some weeks back, just to see if they would even fit - and the car looked really nice with just the wheels and no styling. I've had several nights where I've REALLY wished I hadn't ordered the body kit & the wing. Wished I'd just gone with the rims, lowering, and an exhaust to get a real nice clean look (the car doesn't even have the original wing mounted now...)
But done is done, and nothing to do about it. The kit is on it's way and there's no turning back now. Feeling pretty confident about the front + sides. A bit nervous about the GT200 wing (too big?). and VERY nervous about the bomex rear (ugly? )
Anyways. Time will tell. The toyota dealer I bought the car from owes me a full cleaning/rubbing/polish that they're going to do on monday - so, if the weather allows it, I'll try and get some snaps of the car then. clean and lowered on 19's. Even if the body kit arrives this weekend, it'll take atleast 2 more weeks before it's mounted on the car. So you'll have to wait a bit longer before you see everything...
