Ok, I was very much torn between the TRD sportivo, Tein HA or SS, or the Hotchkis TVS suspension systems. Then I read the results of the TVS and it said it outperformed a Porche 911 GT3 (.94g) and a Corvette ZO6 (1.00g flat) on the salom. It claimed that the TVS celica did and average of 1.04g!!! Well, the TRD Sportivo is around $1500 and the Tein is around $1500, too. The Hotchkis TVS is $2300.
My questions: 1) Do they all contain the same components (camber kits/links, coilovers, shock/struts, etc)?
2) Do the Tein and TRD systems provide similar if not better results than the TVS?
3) Pricewise, I'll have about $800 left if I got with another kit. What else should I buy if do TRD or TEIN?
4) What other suspension equipment needs to be replaced that these kits don't come with, for instance, sway bars, camber links, etc. OR does the TVS (total vehicle system) really have everything I need?
Please help. Your car/suspension/product knowledge will really help here!! Thank you.

imo - the hotchkis is the best, but what do you paln to do with it? if you plan to race on a track, get hotchkis, if you want some confort and drive on the street, the trd and tein are fine. i don't like coil overs that much cause once the car is lowered, i wouldn't really adjust the height again unless it's too low. everytime you adjust a coil over, you should get an alignment.
i use the trd system cause it performs well, and doesn't lower the car too much. you do need the travel to perform well.
if i get a coil over, i recommned jic over tein
if i want a track car, i recommend hotchkis.
but my best advice - get what you want/like the most

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want a track/show car then get coilovers. The coilover kit should come with camber links (it should say what you get with the kit in the description-make sure you do your homework). I hear that the read can be rough though. If you just want a drop, then go with springs and shocks. There are many reliable companies out there and they all have a different drop, so it depends on how much of a drop you want. If you want coilovers, Tein SS, TRD Sportivo, Hotchkis, and Skunk2 are all good.

I thought Skunk2 was strictly Honda? They have many great producks, but 95% of them are for honda. And 90% of statistics are made up on the spot?!

Sending payment tomorrow...someone else... this is your last chance! Do all these kits include the same things? I know the Hotchkis TVS competition series comes with shocks and struts...what about TEIN and TRD SPORTIVO????

The Teins come with everything you need to drop or adjust it (including springs and shocks).. mines just came in last week but I didn't get the chance the install it yet.
If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.

How much did it set you back and did you get the HA or SS? What's the difference?
