I had a 8 hour diagnostic exam this morning and when I got out I see my rear bumper hanging off!!!!! Some asshole hit me and drove off! I haven't had a chance to do any shopping around but the cop told me the repairs would probably run me about a $1000... Does that sound right to you guys? If thats about right then I guess I wont be getting a cold air Intake, exhaust, and neon bulbs like I have been saving up for... And I guess I it would be wise to go ahead and get a body kit with that money now, instead of just getting the stock rear. Does anyone have any suggesstions?? I looked online for some body kits but its so hard to decide! Is there any websites that have a gallery with pictures next to each other?? Any info would be great! Thanks guys

man that does suck thats y i had a post about were to get lil cameras in my car so if any one was to hit me i could have them in camera and go after there ass i now there is a couple of cars i saw an integra with them and a MR-2 on Importtuner magazines but dont know were to get it

that sucks, somebody hit my brother and cracked his bumper in half and left.

speaking of hit and run, few of them happened yesterday infront of my face. i was going home when this fucker on the front crashes his car to a car parked on the right and he continues. me with a little alcohol in me(i can see perfectly clear, but brain not 100% working). so im like cool and i start to chase him. i follow him and he goes back to the same street where i live. i let him go a little and see him hit another car on the right, then he puts on reverse and starts going back. i escape by making a left on a street and he hits another car. i bust a bitch and go back i see everyone there. i tell the guy the licesnse plate number and the car and tell him wut he did, and leave. a minute later cops come.
sorry to ruin ur topic, but sharing something about hit and run. tell you the truth, you cant do much about it. you have to claim it to ur insurance depending how much deductable you got. ur insurance gonna go high. and probably the guy who hit you dont have insurance, so thats gonna be pain in the ass and in courts. its so fucken bad when this kinda shits happen when you werent expecting it and you didnt do anything wrong for it to happen. i know how it feels. lost about 5,000$ like that.

Yeah it TOTALLY SUCKS But hopefully something good will come out of it... I was just looking at the gallery and it occured to me, my car is completey stock as of right now, except for a few minor things(antenna, lights, grill) so do you guys think it will look weird to have a kit with stock rims, and do you think it will look kinda weird not dropped? I dont think I have seen a car with a kit and no rims, and not dropped..

honestly..for that kind of money ($1000 dollars) you might as well just get an entire bodykit. And as for the stock rims/no drop...everyone has to start somewhere

yah $1000 seems right.. i got hit 3 weeks ago and it cost about $3000

about a year ago, someone drove into the driver's side fender of my car, deliberately (not just the "oh shit" kinda hit a parked car accident. No, the wal-mart surveilance camera showed them steering for my car. The cops came, looked at the video, at my car, and told me there wasn't anything they could do.

SO if even though there was evidence they still didn't go after the guy? Couldn't they get his license plate number from the cameras??? OMG that would REALLY piss me off, not only is your car fucked up but you have evidence on who did it and nothing gets done. I HATE COPS>
