so what is it for and what good will it do me?

The better grounding points can make the engine run a bit smoother and give a power increase. The difference however would probably be so minimal unless the car had grounding problems or was heavily modified. If you have a big ICE setup it would be more benifical for helping it work better.

how do i install it? or do i need to take it to shop??
