Just wondering If anyone knows anything new about if and when a supercharger will be available??? What guess does everyone have on how much It will cost installed...and how much power and performance It'll actually add? Any info would be greatly appreciated...It's down to the wire on what car I'll be getting...the deal has to be signed before the new year and this mod could be the deciding factor in which car I end up with.

What I know is that the Blitz supercharger that is out makes the Celica 240 hp. I don't know torque or anything else and I don't know if 240 is at the wheels or crank. Also, its definate that TRD is making a supercharger for the 2zz engine which is the Matrix XRS and GTS engine. Nothing about that yet, but the Blitz costs about 4500-5200 I think. Retail is around 5200, most sites sell it for 4500+. Hopefully TRD has details about theirs soon because TRD would have a warranty for it and the car since they are both Toyota.

Thanks...I was wondering about a Supercharger for a 2003 TRD GTS. The one you mentioned above is for an older model Celica correct (and not for use in an 03 GTS? As I've mentioned before, I'm REALLY new to import cars in general and have little knowledge at all about anything that has to do with Import aftermarket...I'm a HUGE fan of domestics/muscle cars. Anyways, It's time for a car with newer technology and I have to make my final decision on which car that will be by Monday and close on the car by Tuesday at 6. I'm really under the gun on which car I want to go with...the only thing holding me back from getting the Celica is It's lack of power...I need at LEAST a 0-60 time of 5.5s (At least) to stay alive out there with the way I'm used to driving. Anyways, If I could get the power out of this car on a 4 grand aftermarket budget I would...but without a Supercharger I don't see it happening. The S/C may make or break my decision...does anyone know If the TRD S/C will be out before June 1st?

There is currently no release date or specs about the TRD supercharger being made. The only one is the Blitz which will fit the 00-03 Celica GTS.

5 grand from what I hear. Use that for a down payment on something with more than 200hp stock.
