No you cannot put that in, not without some major remodeling. And I mean major. Put the front seat in the back, no backseat car, dash would be where the front seat is now, shortend windshield etc etc. See where I'm going with this?

Lets chill out guys. He's a noob and new to cars, don't give him a hard time making him feel unwelcomed. He's going to be too scared to ask any questions. We all had to start somewhere right? It's all good man.

There ARE a few engines you could drop into a Celica, but a V12 ain't one of them. That'd be SO freakin' sweet though! What would it run? 6 secs? V12 on a small, extremely light body like the Celi. That's badass.
Absolutely Red awesome canyon road hugger with impressive straight-line acceleration.

CID, you're on the right track there. But why not make it AWD with a 6-speed sequential?

Celica2k1, right now, the only successful swaps I have heard of, was one with a supra motor (done by Rod Millen, so will not be done by an ordinary person) It took a lot of custom work. They have a 3zz motor, I think someone on Newcelica.org has done it. You can do other swaps, you just have to look at the size and room, etc. Then change the trans, ecu, etc. It is a lot of work. Hope that helps.

Actullay... with about 60-80K (maybe a little more) and an INSANE mechanic, some industrial design and engineering students from a good engineering school , you could convert a celica to rear wheel drive, change the internals, rip out the trunk and backseats and turn it into an engine bay, rebuild a custom chassis and firewall from the ground up, rebuild the undercarrieage to reverse the tranny, and drop a 12 cyllinder lambo engine in the back, custom tranny, custom exhaust ... man.. if you did that, I bet you could sell it for about 130-200K when you are done... so don't bash him.. with enough cash ANYTHING is possible... I went to college at SCAD, the year I graduated the ID students built and sold a $230,000 400hp 1 of a kind prototype car and only spent 100K to design and build it from scratch. If you have the skill, time, energy, drive and most important FUNDING... ALL IS POSSIBLE... hehe [ 04-24-2003, 09:38 PM: Message edited by: FX-MAN ]
