Sup, I recently decided on a final choice for a body kit(Black Widow II) which would be going on my GTS. I was wondering if any companies made dual exhaust for the 2001+ celica. I've seen in on a few in pictures but those were custom jobs. I've had zero luck in finding a dual exhaust kit for my soon to be rear bumper. I'm not too sure if dualies are only available in custom jobs or not as well. Enjoi.

Yes, there is. There is a company called Laser that makes them...I had emailed them about it, because they are not in US, and they said if you bought it, it would fit on US spec Celica. I'll see if I can find the site for you. thumbsup

That is really tight. I think I like the Cel better with two headers complared to the Stock, one.
By the way Heat, is this the site?

It looks good, I might have to keep here if my mind doesn't change. wink

Check this pic out. This girl had custom flow masters put on her Cel. I could only wonder how that baby sounds.

You will lose horsepower with a dual exhaust on a four banger, that is, if it is a true dual exhaust.

It will cause a drastic decrease in exhaust back pressure.

But, I do agree that it looks better.

I don't like that frown but maybe I can make up for it.
Anyways, if I'm not the only one looking for Dualies I just answered my question finally to finding a site that sells them.

If you want a preview of what it looks like on the GTS here it is. (Small pic but it works)

You know, you could always get a "fake dual exhaust system." You would get the look of dual exhaust, but only one of the pipes would be fuctional. No one would ever know unless your car smokes, it's cold out, or i f they are physically feeling for expelled air (which I don't think anyone would do wtf .)

This is a Y_pipe dual exhaust. You will not loose any horsepower with a Y dual. As long as the split is after the catalyic converter, you'll be fine. I am getting a dual exhaust in about a month and i've done a lot of research, so you can trust me. You can only gain power from a Y pipe dual. thumbsup

So your saying that I either didn't loose power or I gained some power because my Dual exhaust's has a Y pipe and its after the Catalyic converter. The exhaust system is totally custom made.

if the rear part of the kit has a dual exhaust opening it looks funny if there isnt some there to fill it in. like if you only had one testicle. rofl j/k

thats not totaly true now it wouldn't be a drastic loss as a true dual would have your still loosing a lot of back pressure from the two mufflers not to mention those are just glass packs which just allow everything to flow anyway

plain and simple unless your Turbo'd duel exhaust on a 4 cyl is looks only

SuperSprint looks good to me. But I think I'll still look around for the best price and description of the pipes.

god, I have to admit that dual setup looks nice, but the big drawback to a dual setup is added weight. dual would be twice as heavy as an equivalent single muffler system, and weight is the celica's worst enemy.

While it looks sweet, you'd be better off with a high Performance titanium single like the veilside.

But honestly, I like that dual system, if it's all titanium, I bet the slight weight increase would be worth the Performance increase, so long as the dual is lighter than, or just as heavy as stock, you should be fine.

you're not going to loose all this hp. Running with an unbolted exhaust will drastically decrease backpressure.

what if you get two trd exhaust's customed into a dually, and you make the y joint after the cat so it wont lose hp?

I beleive its the same factor as any other dual, your still opening more "exhaust bandwith" than you are putting out exhaust ...I believe.
