Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Need help with an install...ASAP if possible

ok...I got sum hyperwhite lights that i want to install in my 02...ive already done the low beams and im tryin to replace my DRLs...questions are:

1. do the DRLs use the same style lights as the lowbeams?

2. how the hell does the DRL lights come out..Ive tried and have had no success.

3. it sounds dumb, but how in the hell do i get the plastic overlay off?! those little push bracket black things are pissing me off.

yes they sound like noob questions but Im tryin to replace these before I go out tonite so I can look good...please help!

The DRL's are 9005. So they are different than the lowbeam (H7). The DRL is much easier than the lowbeams. They simply twist out.

The plastic overlay? I am assuming you're referring to the engine compartment plastics. The black push pin can be removed by using a small screw driver and push the center piece in, than lift the push pins up with your fingers or flathead screw driver.

Should've bought the bulbs from the Store. We would've made sure that you got the correct bulbs for the entire car.

JUST FOR THE RECORD... I HAAAAAAAAAATE THOSE DAMN CLIPS FOR THE LOWBEAMS ALSO... !!!!!!
