has anyone tried mr cleans auto dry? just curious of the results

I think i saw a post about this not too long ago, and the person loved it. You might want to search, cause im not too sure if it was the same one

yeah there has been a lot of topics about it. i bought it but i still haven't tried it yet.

i got it this week and it works like a charm its kinda expensive but i guess thats the benefit of not having to dry ur car.. all you do is spray it w/ water than soap use a sponge to break up the dirt spray w/ water again and than use the mr clean special stuff and thats it so its like 3 sprays in one its nice

SO does the water just run down the car after you use the Mr Clean thing? I also heard the RainX one was good

Its good...not as great as they make it out to be.. but nothing ever really is. I still like to hand dry, just to make sure I get as much clean as I can. But I'm just obsessive compulsive like that.

i use one of the aborber towels. cost me $10 just for 1 but its worth it.

I bought it today and tried it out. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but it works very well. I followed the directions exactly. When I was done washing the car, I just let it sit...normally a no-no! 10 minutes later, it was completely dry and there wasn't a water spot to be found. Not even on the windows! It was great. Everyone should try it out! If you don't like it, Mr Clean will buy it back from you. It says that on the box. You have nothing to lose!

I agree I also have it. Works awesome. I am so lazy when it comes to drying tooo...Always use so many towels...

it works pretty good...used it a couple days ago...kinda pricey tho but worth it if you dont like hand drying your car

So whats the price on it?

19.95 at walmart and the filter comes for it for 3 washes..
the replacement for the filter is $5 but last 10 washes...so it says...not bad. considering you can kill half the time it takes to dry it. I live in cali, so in the summertime i get spots before i even get the towel ready to dry.

Mine was only $17.99 at Wal*Mart. I think I got a deal. Of course, I do live in Hicksville, PA. That could be why too. They sell them extra cheap so that everyone can make sure that their 1987 rusty ass primer grey cavaliers are nice and spot free. You know, the ones with trash can lids for hubcaps?

All this sounds good but when I want to see my ride looking sparkly I just take it to the guy that washes my car...$12 includes armor all.

armor all is teh worst stuff you can use on your car.

A good old terry cloth beach towel seems to do the job for me. Not the cheap kind the ones with a good mass to it. I can reuse that thing 1000 times, never pay a penny for replacement anythings, and I can dry my whole car with that one towel in like 5-10 minutes. That couple of minutes also gives me more time to check the condition of the paint on my car. Look for new chips or scrathces and to see if I missed some dirt or spots.

I know exactly what you mean i'm from Cali as well.
