Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior chrome

I finally got the wheels I ordered after they F***ed up the shipping...I know most people don't like chrome, and prefer racing rims (like the racing hart's), but I wanted chrome cause I don't race often, and when I do I have a set of 17" BBS wheels I use. These chrome wheels are for cruising, and daily driving. oh, and before I put the pics up, I KNOW I need to drop it, and put a kit on it...I'm looking into tanabe coilovers, and the varis Extremor kit...so one thing at a time...anyway, post it up, and tell me what you think...good or bad, doesn't matter to me...

Well its different alright. Not my style but if you like it thats all that matters.

At least it matches the artwork on the side. I'm going to be buying chrome myself, Konig Prophet 18's. I've heard good & bad things about chrome, but I think (hope) it'll look alright.

some chrome rims looks good on a celica..But they shouldn't be on racing cars, just luxarys and suv. IF you like the rims, its all good.

There arent for me, but those are so original and you wont see that on any other celica so I give you major props there...being unique is a very very good thing.

thanks...yeah, I know they aren't for most people, but they are for me and that's all that matters...unique does count for something...I'm glad to see everyone giving their honest opinion too...that's all I wanted

expinch: the guy on the door is something I drew, took to the graphics shop, and had blown up for me...took forever to get it right too...its my own design. You aren't going to be able to tell from the pics on my profile but I do competitive bodybuilding, and wanted something that looked mean, but at the same time was some kind of extension of myself, and something that no one else would have (flames, tribal...etc), so that's where that came from...

matches your graphics well so i think that deserves a as far as liking it, you shouldnt care what people think. if you think it looks badass, so be it. btw, is it hard to keep chrome rims clean? more so than other kinds of rims?

As long as you like it! I personally don't like the wheels or the graphics. I appreciate the fact that you drew the picture, but it should stay on paper, not on the Celi. Just my opinion. BTW, You have mad drawing skills!

depends how the chrome rims looks like...theres some chrome rims that looks good on celi too!

my fav is the splitters on a stock bumper. lol
