Ok I've decided that I want a 2" drop all around. Tanabe springs will accomplish this, and so will Skunk2 coilovers. It seems from the threads i've read that I'm going to have to buy some struts and camber links to handle this drop.

My question is, if I buy the skunk2 coilovers, do I have to buy struts too? I'm not that concerned with Performance, just look. Is the adjustable hight the only thing I'm gaining by choosing coilovers over springs?

Also does anyone have any suggestions as to some cheap aftermarket struts that could handle the drop?

Thanks,

Get Springs. Coil overs... thumbsdown to stiff for my teste.
You do not have to change your shocks right after the installation. You can get it later.

Thanks! Yeah I'm leaning toward springs I think, but my car is nearing 55,000 so I probably need to replace the struts too. Any suggestions for reputable struts? I don't need anything top of the line or adjustable, just something reliable.

Looks like those run about $400. Surely there are some cheaper ones huh?

I don't recommend tokico struts for a 2" drop because that's too low then what the warranty recommends for the tokico. I think it says 1.5" at the lowest.

skunk2 are not ral coilovers. so if our not inot Performance why not jsut get springs.

also arent skunk 2 springs porgressive rateso lowering them makes them stiffer.

Get adjustable coilovers!!! You can make em soft as hell if you want!! It is called adjustable dampening! Why the hell do you think they are so expensive!!! Cause they are soooo nice! thumbsup

Sure... If you going to buy TRD springs get TRD shocks, Eibach-Eibach, Tokico-Tokico...
P.S. I have KYB AGX... I like it ,but it's hard for me to tell if it's better than TRD or Eibach... I never had 'em.

It looks like I'll be getting Tanabe springs. Any suggestions for those?
