hey everyone, thanks for all the previous help, but now i'm asking for some more. i just got my system installed recently and the previous owner (if i find you, you're ass is grass), installed a kicker speakers ON TOP OF THE ORIGINAL GRILLS! so i'm now stuck with some hideous holes and my focal's are just waiting to be kicked in by one of my friends. does anyone have any idea how i can prefab something for it, or maybe should i just find a way to smooth it out. oh yea, another thing, about my brakes, the paint is chipping off of them, should i scrape them down with a wire brush, and then just use that paint in the break painting part of the site? do i need to do anything else?

OMG eek
For the back ones you might be able to cut out the whole plastic piece and put a GrillCraft or something over it.
As for the front I have no ideas.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

the only thine I can think of is

1) Find replacement pieces from a junk yard, etc ...

2) Upholster your plastics

3) Fiberglass new panels

4) Find previous owner and kick his ass

Yes, clean them with spray-on brake cleaner and a wire brush to remove as much of the old paint as possible. Then rinse well with HOT water and let dry.

Then repaint and they should be good as new. thumbsup

cut out the ENTIRE grill panel piece, and fab up some new ones out of plastic/grill and build some tabs into it, and then screw/glue the new grills into place. thumbsup

this thread pics pissed me off. do something about it man. carfax.com or something and go fuck him up. go cut big holes on his fuckin trunk and hood and put his tires in em.

Can't you use the front part of the speaker (the mesh part)that he installed to go over your new speaker.

I think you might be able to use this opportunity to fabricate new panels and make it look cool. Other than that, you might have to get whole new doors.

you can go to the junkyard or your dealer for the panels. Or you can get them covered in suede or leather & the upholstery shop or yourself can make a cover that will cover up the whole so that if some one was to put pressure on that area, it wouldn't feel empty behind it.

i still like plan 4, kicking the previous owner's ass grin

did you really buy the car like that? why waste your money on buying a car that was going to be such an eye sore? even it was a good deal, another good deal would have come around too! did you see the car before you bought it?
