Ok, so you have a carbon blue celica just to be clear. As for gunmetal rims, they should look ok. The keep the dark color scheme of the car going. But use your best judgment when buying them. Exhaust should be around 500.
i dont really get what you mean with "filters", but you should just get a CAI for the ecelica store for $230.
A header for your car should be around 300, maybe more, ask Grand-Touring-Dan, he has the hotshot header for his gt. He could help you out better there.

hmmm quick mods...get the resonator on ur exhaust yanked and have a custom mid pipe put in at a local muffler/exhuast shop. also get an aem alternator pulley from the store here ($70).

just my opinion, hope it helps. wave

I would careful about the removing the resonator and custom downpiping.. everyone I know who has done it ended up dropping to much back pressure and lowered their PSI (causing loss not gain)..

If you want performace GET LIGHTWEIGHT RIMS or you will lose performance. Stock are 18lbs anything heavier or bigger and you lose power.

I would go with AEM or INJEN Cold Air Intake FIRST (unless you plan to turbo later)
Then a TRD exhaust
Then Hotshot Header
Lightweight Flywheel and Clutch (expensive though)

I just read the thread about fuel rail magnets, think I might get one, just because they are cheap so if they don't work... no big loss.

If you don't care about your stereo get underdrive pulleys they are cheap, go with AEM though, UR pulleys remove your harmonic Dampener

i'm confused, correct me if i'm wrong, but a header will LOWER your low end power slightly(good mid and high gain though). and from grand-touring dan i was told (in the hotshot header thread pg 3) that his power loss was from muffler not the midpipe(not downpipe, the midpipe (after cat)) or resonator. also just be careful when choosing rims, stock rims are 18.6 (or 18.4)lbs, my rims are 20lbs and are 18"s so i said what the hell, if i wanna go to the track i'll throw on my stock rims and compare with the enkeis.

i'm confused, please let me know about the midpipe and resonator, i dont wanna do it if it will cause loss in power(was about to go to the shop this week and have it done) spineyes

thx for the help cheers

flow is a tricky thing, if you don't have ballanced intake you could end up lowering engine compression (too little air in, too much out, is not a good thing for power). All I am saying is just know what you are doing before you do it.

kewl , thx for the help thumbsup
my main worry is too big of midpipe, which imo would be the worst thing to do. i dont think 2.5" is too big, but any advice would be helpful grin thx in advance cheers

Yo Yo. ok guys. To clear things up. The TSRM exhaust is 2.5". So I decided to go with 2.5" mid pipe. This is where the problem was. For my set up I should have gone with like 2.25" mid pipe (but I don't think I would notice gains), or I should sell the TSRM and get TRD or Thermal exhaust (best gains). Hope that isn't confusing.

Celica01gt- are you driving an auto or manual? This will be a factor in your mods. You obviously can't get a clutch. blah blah blah. As for the gunmetal wheels. Thats not my thing, but if you want it go for it. Just make sure that it flows with your other appearance mods.

And listen to Simon (FXMAN), he knows what he is talking about. Me and him can answer many of the questions for the GT. If ytou have any questions, post them or send me a PM, I'm more than happy to help out.

Its all good Brad. Don't let that get you down. You tried, just a little confused, thats all. If you do the exhaust set up right, you will have great gains, but my set up is bad. You got it right. You gave good advice. thumbsup Good job man.

Peaceout, Dan

TURBO TURBO TURBO TURBO!!! HAHA... I am getting too excited about the WC Toyota Turbo kit... only a month or so to go... my best advice is save your cash and put it all into that! Or wait for me to get it then you can buy my hotshot and AEM CAI!

thanks ya'll for the advice... im just getting started into cars actually and to be honest i dont know shit about all this.

but i do have a manual (wats the use of having a sports car if you're in automatic right? >> wells that's just me)

anyways, how can i be sure of what to really get. because i dont wanna spend cash on something that will make my car slower. im planning to get an exhaust on thrusday and pipe... then get the headers after. (my firend helps me out with these because he's into cars, but he's not familiar with celicas, that's why i need you guys input)

really appreciate it

TRD exhaust is the best. I have seen a dyno of the thermal exhaust pulling 129 hp. I do not know if this is true, and it was not a manufacturers dyno. I saw it on NC.org. Since I do not like my exhasut set up, I want to go with Thermal. My roommate has it on his eclipse and its great. Other eclipse owners love it as well. SO that what I want.
The Hotshot header will also be a great mod for you. But if you want to turbo your car in the near future do not get the header. If you want the turbo, an upgraded clutch is recommended, and with that I recommend a lighter Flywheel (Tom's). The flywheel will also help with low end torque if you just get the header, and so will the pulleys.
If you get coilovers, just get a well know company, Tein, TRD, Skunk2. There are others as well.
What did you mean by filters? If you want noticable gains, go CAI. AEM or Injen. I reccommend Injen, never heard a complaint, I have it, and AEM seems to have problems with the CEL.

Hope that helps, Good luck man.

Good luck man. Are you getting an aftermarket muffler or staying with your stock one?
Just for the record, Crower cams are supposed to be coming out around July. Those will give you big gains.
I'm debating right now if I want to go N/A or turbo. I'll probably get the cams and then get the turbo next summer.
