ok it took me forever to get the electrical prob warrantied and now toyota is giving me hell on my latest prob. my belts squeek and they are now blaming it on my injen cai(lmao) frown . so i had to pull it off and put on my stock air box(sigh) to prove to them that it wasnt making the noise cry now they say its not the tensioner because its been replaced twice already, but its clearly coming from the belt area (dunno if its the accessory belt or what) frown i'm just glad i hadnt put on my aem pulley yet... does anyone have any ideas??? they say its not the belt or the tensioner, and i have to leave my car with them tommorrow.

thx for the help/advice in advance grin cheers

btw sorry fx man and grand tourin dan(for my stupid post earlier-u guys always help and have given good advice), i was in a bad mood, i had just got my 18's on and then i get this stupid squeek and toyota tries bsin me frown

Could it possibly be one of your accessory pulleys? I know its a long shot, but maybe one of the pulleys isn't tight. It is more than likely the belt tensioner though, my suggestion is to just keep pushing it. Hope things work out for you man.

Sounds like you should get a beer and vedge out for a bit, don't think about anything.

Dan

PS, No hard feelings. cheers

Thats a good 4 hour drive from Houston. You're in Missourri, so you are North of me. Instead of goind straight south and then west, you are just traveling southwest. The Interstates/Highways you will be on are not near me.

toyota once again is puttin me off frown , i have to take my car back to them on tue morning to fix the belt wine/squeek. they had to order a tensioner because its the only thing they can think of thats wrong, but i've had my tensioner replaced twice before. why would my tensioner need to be replaced so often ???? man this sux, i cant put my aem pulley on till they warranty this stuff.

The tensioner is a recall right? Many people seem to have problems with the tensioner.
