does anyone out there have a valentine v1 in their celica? what do you think of it? ive heard good things about it but they are expensive!! also is there a way to wire it without the ugly cigarette lighter cord??

the valentine v1 is one of, if not thee best radar detector on the market.

and yes if you want to you can cut the wires and run them into the head board and wire it to be directly powered from the sunroof/interior light.

not recommended though, just use the cig this way you can always take it down

where's the best place to get a v1? i see them around for about $300. anyone know a place i can get them cheaper than that?

For complete coverage use a valentine v1 with a rocky monutain phazer II ... cops will love you then.

I have one, and I love it...

I have the V1 too, never have a ticket with the V1 in y car~
and i think you can have it wire some where else, because there is a port for the power supply at the right side of the radar(sorry my english sucks)...

I think i will eventually get one
