Here's some pics I took at the dealer, the thundercloud ones are pretty dark. Damn flash. Oh, and the rims aren't stock.











Note: the tip is this plastic thing ATTACHED to the bumper. I guess it can be removed though.



Fake mesh with no airflow.










FYI the holes in the skirt and rear bumper aren't mesh, just black fill in. Though I'm sure they could be replaced.

The new wing has kinda grown on me and looks better in person. There ya go man. I don't think the color coded interior comes in the USA version.

Im sorry to say but i think Toyota is messing up the Celica, IMO the new kit is ugly and is all fake since all the grills are fake and have no function. The interior color coding thigns are nice though. The worst thing is the fake plastic exhaust tip that doesnt even connect to the stock exhaust!

Don't forget the stock altezzas

why did toyota put everything fake on this car? its s celica. they turned fake alot. corolla and matrix doesnt have this kinda fake shit. instead of putting fake exhaust tip and all that, why couldnt put on a better antenna? the interior color trim is kinda nice though

look closely. did they change the stereo unit or is that an option?
btw that honda doesnt look too bad with that spoiler

are those seats and steering wheel only available in canada or also in the US?? i want the blue ones

lol guys... member, this is in CANADIAN DOLLARS yeah the base STOCK celica that im lookin at buying (brand new) is 27 thousand.

That car makes me want to The kit is ugly and cheap looking. Where did they get the inspiration for the cheap exhaust thing? I like the seats.

I didn't realize at first that this was in canadian dollars. Still seems a bit expensive, though (about $23K, american).

I guess its called "Tsunami edition" cause of the whole new wave of crapolla they added to the exterior . Not a fan of the new kit...not at all

When I saw the concept pictures, I thought it looked cool. Now that I've seen real pictures...

Toyota got the factory kit idea right the first time, with the original action package. The ONLY nice part of the Tsunami is the rear wing.

BTW, someone should go steal the wing off that Civic and put it on the car it belongs with.

When I went to buy my car last November, I saw a brand new 2003 "Action Package" Celica GTS with 18'' TRD Rim, TRD Lowering Springs, and TRD extended Exhaust for $28,000!

Although, I think Toyota is ruining the sleekness of Celica with this new action package. The celica looks as good as it is stock, and even better with the TRD package, but Toyota's new package doesn't fit the car.

Tonight my parents and I were driving by the Toyota dealer, and I saw a Tsunami sitting in the front so we made a quick stop to check it out in person. Honestly, I hated everything about it. The huge riced out exhaust is awful, and so are the stock altezza's. The old action package put the tsunami to shame. There was an 03' action package sitting right next to the tsunami on the lot. The action package is so much more agressive and looks good on the celi, the tsunami looks horrible. And on top of all this, the dealer wanted 29k for the GTS.

after seeing it from diff angles I am not sure I like it anymore... aside form the sides and the scoop, thats about it.

for 27k, no thanks...

Man I'm really happy I got the 1st edition of the 7th Gen Celi. In my opinion it's the best looking!

Why does it become rice once it sits on a 4 door civic?

They keep putting crappy rims on there cars too, the rest of the auto makers are turning to 16's standard and 17-18's as an option and toyota continues to put the fugly 15's on the GT's when other cars of the same price are getting 17's+

16 year olds who just watched the F&F and finally got their license..now its time for mommy and daddy to buy them a car...wow..mom..this car is only 22,000. look how cool it is..its safe..good on gas mileage..and its sporty..everyone is happy...

then the kid finally get it...and drives around acting like he put his hard money and effort into making the car look like that...he is going to act like he deserves credit..when mpst of us here took a somewhat stock(if not action package) celica..and put so much cash into it to design it into OUR car.
