Ok, how do i break in a new tranny and a new flywheel?

I would guess just like a new engine especially for the Celica? We ae talking about the Celica? Just take it easy for 1000 miles or two. No dump clutches or over revs. Maybe have the transmission serviced after that (just to make sure) then drive it to bits!!

i broke mine's in by doing a lot of stop and go driving, just dont rev really high, race, etc for the first 3-4 hunndred miles

I had my gearbox rebuilt under warranty - they just said go easy (no redline gearchanges) in the first 1000Kms. They said this was so the gears and synchros wear in a bit. I;m going to change the gearbox oil pretty soon (it's done 6000Kms on the gearbox) so all the metal wearings can drop out of the box.
