I'm not really asking the aged-old question of AEM vs Injen, but i am asking which would give me better low end power; a short ram intake or a cold air intake? Also which would be a better buy as far as a short ram: Blitz LM intake, Rod Millen, AEM or Injen. not really looking for a cold air intake...lots of deep puddles around my neighborhood (water bad ), but if that'll give me better performace (low end) then i might just look into it. THANX

THANXThe answer to your specific question is only a search away. Personally I would get the CAI, think about the HOOOTT air in your engine bay which will be surrounding your filter. Then think about how cold air being "dense"-- meaning their is much more oxygen in cooler air, then think about how much less oxygen their is in the immediate area surrounding your filter, because it is so close to the engine where temps are hotter. They both cost about the same amount, and their is nothing to worry about with 'hydrolocking' if you are concerened fabricate a box or buy a shield for it.

A shortram would really suffer in that kind of heat.
