By driving lights, do you mean lights in your cockpit, or fog lights?
Well, I am talking about foglights-like projectors. I hope this helps.
Got ya. There are two ways that you can connect the wires.
1. If you want the fog lights to turn on whenever your headlights are on, just splice the positive fog light wire in with the positive wire that runs to the headlight, or any other light source that only turns on when you turn your headlights on at night.
The negative wire can be connected to either your negative battery terminal or a grounding location on the car. I believe the frame of the car itself will work.
I'd just connect it to the negative battery terminal to ensure a secure fit.
2. You could buy a switch, and mount it inside of the cockpit where ever you want it to be, and just pass the wires through the firewall by poking a hole in it with a coat hanger, or punch, or what ever. You should do it this way if you want independent control of the fog lights, and want them to turn on or off at the flick of a switch.
The only reason you might not want to do it this way is because it can be a pain in the ass routing the wires through the firewall.
As for the first step, make sure that whatever source you are hooking the fog lights up to has enough power to support their usage, and you won't blow anything, or melt any wiring.
