Well, you should figure at least 2-3 days for payment to arrive, unless you're in the same state.
Then at least 1 business day for the check to get from business to the bank. Then at least 3-4 days for the check to clear if not longer (I make my Ebay customers wait 10 days regardless) and then at least 2-3 days for your item to get to you once it's shipped.
Having paid by check the soonest you could expect to receive your item should be no less than ten business days (two weeks) to as long as 12 business days. And that's minimum turnaround for everything. If your check takes a week to clear and an extra day for them to ship your item you'll be waiting nearly a month.
