Celica Forums General Discussion General Status on my car...

Went in the shop today...they had my head all tore apart. I bent all my pushrods and my valves. I cracked my alluminum oil pump all the way through almost too. The block is shot, clutch almost gone, luckily nothings wrong with the tranny.
I'm gettin a used 00 gts engine with 22k miles on it,...still gonna have lift bolt issues..

I'm sorry for being ignorant, but I missed what happened to make your engine so destroyed. Please explain or give a link. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Good luck with the repair and I hope it doesn't set you back too much.

Push Rods?... I wasnt aware an engine w/ overhead cams had push rods

glad its gonna come together...I'd flame you for being high, but I've got vendettas about that for personal reasons that aren't worth going into, and I figure you've probably had enough ...I'd say you learned your lesson, and at least you only hurt yourself, and not anyone else...hopefully you'll get your celi back soon...whatever the reason may be, I know I'm terribly attached to my celi, and I can only imagine the withdrawal I'd have if I blew it up.

No need to flame him, because I will. I've driven more fried than this guy. Hell, I've driven my Celica while rolling joints in a manual. I've driven my Celica cracking beers and rolling joints. I've driven so stoned that it would have made the Earth quake if not in my Celica. I've driven in my Celica snorting blow, packing a bowl, and smoking a cigarette. Eventually I got busted. This guy got off easy with a destroyed engine and being a dumb young herb smoker. Be lucky that you're so stupid. You drink and drive or do drugs and drive and I know about it, I will be the first to turn you in to the police even before you get into the car so you don't do any harm. You deserve everything coming to you - moron. At least learn to drive stoned, lightweight, and then I'll give you a really a hard time. You're giving a bad name to all of us. I would just like to apologize to BlackCelicaGTS for being such a hard ass. I don't mean to sound like a public service announcement, but those kind of things gets under my skin as you can tell. We all make mistakes, hopefully you won't make the same. Just be a little smarter next time before you drive. I'm sorry and good luck again.

my friend almost died becuase of smoking wed and dribving he felt asleep and hitted the midel blocker and got smashed the door and front in in 140 km/H he was ok but he cudd have died. and by teh way his father had buyed the car the day before and he had no incurense on it just incrense that helps if you hit other cars so he had to throw away the hole car and my friend got a ticked bcuase he brook the mid blocker
