I was able to get AC Gauges for my GTS. I got the overlay with a cable, a black box with 4 cables and the little white thing to change the color and the brightness. I know that one of the cables from the box goes to the power, another one must go to the overlay, 1) what do i do with the other 2 cables left? also 2) where do i install that box? I read the info on Isaac's install guide but it doesn't mention anything about the black box and how to connect the cables. Each cable has different colors, 3) how do I connect them. Please advise...thanks.

This is the overlay I'm talking about

If it is the AC Autotechnic, I have the S7's and I guess you are talking about the connectors running to the inverter. There should be:

1. A flat cable that goes to the dimmer.

2. A cable that goes from the power inverter (blackbox) to the gauges. (May have 4 plastic connectors down it. Any of these can be used.)

3. Power wire

4. Ground wire

I found the easiest way to do it was to splice the power into the cigarette lighter with a bit of extension wire, and then used the grounding post on the back of the lighter. Then I mounted the switch/dimmer. There is a spot behind the dash near the center console that you could mount the inverter with some double sided foam tape, or just let it hang like I did. Hasn't fallen out or anything.

Hope this helps,

follow the corresponding letters
(A) can connect to any of the 4 connectors waht evers convinient
(b)and (C) i believe has 2/3 prongs respectively you cant go wrong on that
red wire goes to a power source and black wire goes to a ground
as far as the placement of the balck box i zipped tied mine under the steering wheel on the metal part after you take off the plastic covering

Thank you guys... Now it makes total sense. I'm gonna try installing them this weekend, also i just got my trd rear strut brace and my short shifter, last night I got done installing my TRD springs and my raised hood scoop. Everything is looking good, I will post pics once everything is completed.
