Hey everyone, well I went to AutoHaus, this well known Performance shop, and asked the owner how much he would sell me a Injen SRI, or a AEM CAI. with installation and he told me.
Injen SRI: $200.00 Installed
AEM CAI : $260.00 Installed
Which would be better. I know the difference is about 60 bucks but i'm kinda low on money and trying to conserve for future stuff. thxs for the opinions everyone.

the aem cai would be great for low end power, which the celi needs. the injen sri is more for show and doesn't have as great of gains as the injen or aem cai.

okay guys thanks for the opinions...going for the AEM CAI. Nice pick. But you do know that you could save a hundred bucks by buying it for around $175 and installing it yourself. Takes an hour+, depending on how well you know the internals.

In my opinion, it give you a better understanding of your car. Once you get to know the internals, you can fix almost anything. Saves you a lot of money in the long run, and it's never too late to start learning.

can't go wrong with the aem cai--the 2nd gen is the best Performance Intake on the market so far. however, i'm still an injen sri fan, i'll probably be getting one of these within a few months. looks better under the hood, easier to clean the filter, no worry about hydrolock, only about 1 whp less than aem cai..i can live with that (although if i ever get an exhaust the differences will be greater)

You can't go wrong either way. I like the Injen SRI, I have one. Not just for show, got good gains, in fact theres only a 2hp difference, but you don't get that big empty spot in your engine bay, and it is safer and easier to work with and easier to install. Well worth the 2 hp difference. But there is nothing wrong with AEM.

See with the SRI you dont have to worry about getting water into your Intake, but with the CAI there is a risk of getting water into the filter and potentially damaging your engine. This can be avoided if you spend another 50$ and get AEM's special filter to get rid of that risk. Your choice. I am kinda regretting getting the SRI because i want more power.

Get the Injen CAI here at this site for an amazing price. People seem too get crazy over $70 AEM pulleys that make maybe 1 HP at the most and they say it makes a difference. So get a CAI over SRI. Get an Injen CAI for more gains than that over the short ram or AEM in the long run. Injen all the way. No need to worry about hydrolock either. Believe me, because I've said it before and wil say it again with my new open end funnel filter, that there is no worries.

The chances of you hydrolockin is slim to none, you would have too drive through a small river or lake...
